RZR Funded to launch prediction markets next month after Hantec Trader rebrand

The prop firm that grew out of the Hantec group has a new name, a new website and its first new product lined up: prediction markets.

Hantec Trader is now RZR Funded. The firm relaunched under its new name on October 19, with a new website at rzrfunded.com.

RZR Funded reports that more than 100,000 traders trade with it worldwide, and it has paid out more than $6 million in trader rewards.

We spoke to Bashaar Gokal, Director at RZR Funded, about why they changed the name, what it means for traders, and what's coming.

    Why a new name

Gokal said the prop business has grown to the point where it needed its own identity. The new name gives it more room to grow, while keeping the track record it built as Hantec Trader.

The bigger reason is product. Sharing a name with a regulated brokerage came with limits on what the prop side could offer.

Sharing a name with a globally regulated brokerage (Hantec) has had many benefits but has also meant we've been restricted at times in the types of tools and products we can deliver. With our new identity, we have much greater flexibility to deliver the types of products we feel our traders want.

As for the name itself, RZR stands for sharpness, precision and discipline, qualities the firm says it looks for in its traders and holds itself to as a business.

    Where it came from

Hantec isn't a new name in trading. The Hantec Group was founded in Hong Kong in 1990, grew across Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan, and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2000. The Hantec Markets brand followed in 2008 in Sydney, Australia, and today the group's brokers are licensed in several countries, including the UK, Australia and Mauritius.

The group moved into prop trading in late 2023 with Hantec Trader. It started with two challenge types, the Enhanced Challenge and the Express Challenge, on MetaTrader 4 and 5.

Almost three years later, RZR Funded runs as its own company, registered in Mauritius and Saint Lucia. It is still powered by Hantec Markets Mauritius.

    What changes for traders

If you already trade with them, nothing. All Challenges and funded accounts carry on with the same logins, balances and progress, and profit splits, drawdown limits, targets, trading conditions and payout schedules all stay the same.

The team stays the same too. The management and staff who built Hantec Trader are all still in place, and the firm plans to add more experience to its leadership team. From here, Gokal said, the main focus is on developing new products.

A few things traders liked about Hantec Trader also carry over:

    • 24-hour payout guarantee. Payout requests are approved within 24 business hours. If not, the firm matches the reward, up to $1,000.
    • Up to 95% profit split with the 95/5 add-on.

    Next up: prediction markets

The first new product under the RZR name is already set.

We don't want to say too much yet but we do plan on launching Prediction Markets next month. We have plans to launch more markets, tools and features however we'll share more details on those down the line.

That puts RZR Funded in a small but growing group. MyFundedFutures took an equity stake in Funding Predicts, a prediction markets prop firm, in June, as we covered in our MFFU article. Tradeify's brokerage, Slay Markets, has said it plans to add prediction markets. And prop firm tech providers already let firms launch prediction market challenges without building anything themselves.

The interest makes sense. Kalshi and Polymarket, the two biggest prediction markets, did more than $44 billion in combined trading volume in 2025. This year, growth has been far faster. In September 2026 alone, prediction markets traded more than $75 billion in contracts, the biggest month on record.

    The New Era offer

To mark the rebrand, RZR Funded is running New Era, a 14-day campaign from October 19 to November 1. Every day brings a different offer, live for 24 hours only. The campaign includes:

    • Up to 50% off all Challenges
    • Free Challenge upgrades, add-ons and giveaways
    • Cash prize draws of up to $1,000
    • Buy one, get one free Challenge offers

The daily offers show up in your RZR Funded dashboard. You can see the full campaign at rzrfunded.com/new-era, and current RZR Funded codes are on propfirm.discount.

For now, the practical change for traders is a new name and a new website. The bigger test comes in the months ahead, as RZR Funded starts rolling out the products the rebrand was meant to make possible, starting with prediction markets.
